The same pressed metal ceiling and cornice restored and repainted whiteAfter

Residential interior · Inner West period house

Pressed metal ceiling restoration, Inner West

Decades of paint had built up on this ceiling until it started coming away in sheets. We scraped the loose paint off by hand, kept the sound coats, then primed and applied two finish coats, so the pressed detail is crisp again instead of buried under another layer.

The steel waste compactors at IKEA Rhodes were rusting at the panels and seams. We ground them back to sound steel, primed them and finished them in a Dulux Protective Coatings two-pack system, working around a loading dock that stayed open the whole time.

The same Five Dock front room after painting, white walls, fireplace and built-in shelvesAfter

Federation home interior, Five Dock

Green, yellow and grey walls through a Federation home taken to one clean white. The pressed metal ceilings were scraped back and refinished, and the leadlight windows, front door and timber joinery were cut in by hand.

Residential interior · Annandale

Renovated and extended home, Annandale

A 120-year-old front and a brand-new two-storey extension, painted so you cannot tell where the old house stops. We came in after the plasterers, carpenters and tilers, then returned for a final coat and touch-ups once the fit-out was done.

A Newtown weatherboard cottage repainted in charcoal with heritage red trims and a white picket fence, on a tight block with shared walls and no room for a scaffold. The project page also covers a Newtown terrace finished in turquoise and pink.
