The Inner West Is Full of Strata

What a Strata Repaint Involves
1. An on-site scope, not a photo estimate. We walk the whole building with the committee or agent, note the substrates (rendered entries, face brick, balcony concrete and steel, timber or aluminium windows), flag repairs, and give you one written scope and price for the building rather than guesses per unit. 2. Working with your committee and managing agent. 3. Access and safety. Balconies and upper levels need proper access, whether that is scaffold or a swing stage, and every job comes with safe work method statements and the required insurances. 4. Durable systems where it matters. Common areas, stair cores, rendered entries and balcony soffits take constant traffic and weather. We treat rust on steel balustrades and balcony elements, bridge cracks in render, and specify coatings built to last on high-use surfaces, not just the cheapest colour coat. 5. A staged program. Larger blocks are painted in stages so the building is never fully disrupted, with a schedule the committee signs off before we start.
Red-Brick Walk-Ups
The classic Inner West three-storey red-brick walk-up has its own needs: rendered entries and stairwells, steel or timber windows, shared balconies with concrete and steel elements, and eaves that flake first.
